3-31-06 Shakeup at the Whitehouse

The ‘Shakeup at the Whitehouse’ is just another Republican talking point being echoed by Foxnews. This unequivocally does not constitute a shakeup, it’s not even a stir, it’s not even a ripple.

Andy Card was not the problem, the problems to be addressed are Bush’s policy’s of ignoring the 1st and 4th Amendments, the assault on the Judiciary, warrant-less spying, his being on vacation more than any other President in history, his continuous support of outsourcing American jobs to cheap foreign labor, his disastrous and inept response to Hurricane Katrina, massive tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefit the super-rich, the increase of the poverty levels from 11.1% to 12.1%, the fact that he has the entire world hating us, he’s turned the largest surplus into the largest deficit in US history, unemployment as well as underemployment, his ignoring of global warming, and his War in Iraq has made us appear weak in the eyes of our enemies.
